Empanelment of Contractors for Electrical Maintenance Works at Office and Residential Premises

 

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) invites applications for empanelment of contractors for the below mentioned maintenance works to be carried out in its office and residential premises located at various places in Mumbai.

The contractor desirous of empanelment for the above work and meeting eligibility criteria given below may obtain application forms for respective works from the office of Shri G.P.Garg, The Chief General Manager, Facilities Management Division, Securities and Exchange Board of India, SEBI Bhavan, Plot No. C-4-A, ‘G’ Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra(E), Mumbai 400 051  upon submission of documentary evidence.

 

There will be separate empanelment for Sr.No.1 i.e. electrical maintenance for office premises and Sr.No.2 i.e. electrical maintenance for residential premises. Separate application form as per the prescribed format may be filled up for empanelment of contractors for maintenance work for office and maintenance work for residential premises.

 

The last date for issue of application form is within 15 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the newspaper. The last date for submission of duly filled application form is 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the newspapers. 

 

1.  Empanelment of Contractors for Electrical Maintenance work for the Office Premises

The Securities and Exchange Board of India intends to prepare a panel of reputed contractors for undertaking maintenance works of the Board’s Office premises at Mumbai. The estimated cost is Rs.3.2 lacs per annum.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

The electrical contractor who intends to apply for above work should have electrical contractors license issued by the Electrical Inspectorate and must be able to render the services of licensed wireman/electrical supervisor (license issued by the Electrical Inspectorate). The contractor must have experience in maintenance of electrical installation including  internal and external LT electrification, panel boards, associated cabling, earthing, wiring for air conditioners, UPS, etc. liasioning with local electricity supply providers and electrical inspections, DG set operation and routine  maintenance, breakdown repairs for office of preferably Government Departments/Public Sector Undertakings/Central Autonomous Bodies/State Autonomous Bodies/Financial Institutions.  

The firm must meet any of the following eligibility criteria during last 7 years ending May 31, 2007:

        i.            Three similar completed maintenance works with yearly compensation not less than Rs.1,29,000/- or,

      ii.            Two similar completed maintenance works with yearly compensation not less than Rs.1,60,000/- or,

    iii.            One completed maintenance work with yearly compensation not less than Rs.2,56,000/-.

In addition to the above criteria the contractors should also have:

        i.            Well established office in Mumbai with adequate technical staff.

      ii.            Registration with Central Excise Dept for service tax.

    iii.            The average annual financial turnover of at least 1.30 lacs during last 3 years ending with March 31, 2007.

 

2. Empanelment of Contractors for Electrical Maintenance Work for The Residential Premises

The Securities and Exchange Board of India intends to prepare a panel of reputed contractors for undertaking maintenance works of the Board’s residential premises located at various places at Mumbai. The estimated cost including labour and material is Rs.4.80 lacs per annum.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

The electrical contractor who intends to apply for above work should have minimum three years of experience, he must have electrical contractors license issued by the Electrical Inspectorate and must be able to render the services of licensed wireman (license issued by the Electrical Inspectorate). Each wireman with minimum 5 years of experience would only be deployed for the work. The contractor must have experience of successful completion of  supply of materials and maintenance of  residential electrical installation /  including  internal and external LT electrification, panel boards, associated cabling, earthing, lighting, wiring for air conditioners, UPS, etc. liasioning with local Electricity supply providers, preferably for Government Departments/Public sector undertaking/Central autonomous bodies/State autonomous bodies/Financial institutions.

The firm must meet any of the following eligibility criteria during last 7 years ending May 31, 2007:

                    i.            Three similar completed maintenance works with yearly compensation not less than Rs.1,92,000/- each for a period not less than one year for each work.

                  ii.            Two similar completed maintenance works with yearly compensation not less than Rs.2, 40,000/- each for a period of not less than one year for each work.

                iii.            One completed maintenance work with yearly compensation not less than Rs.3,84,000/- for a period of not less than one year for each work.

In addition to the above criteria the contractors should also have:

                    i.            Well established office in Mumbai with adequate technical staff.

                  ii.            Registration with Central Excise Deptt for service tax.

                iii.            The average annual financial turnover of at least 2.50 lacs during last 3 years ending with March 31, 2007.
