Sub: Discussion paper on development of “Self Regulatory Organizations (SROs)” in the Indian Securities Market.

 

An internal team of Securities and Exchange Board of India has formulated a discussion paper on development of “Self Regulatory Organizations” in the Indian Securities Market. This paper elaborates on the concept of SROs, reasoning behind the concept and issues with regard to their development in the Indian Securities Market.

 

This paper is available on the SEBI web-site under the title “Reports/Documents” at www.sebi.gov.in. Comments from all the market participants and public are invited on the discussion paper.
