WHEREAS your co-operation is required in connection with the investigations instituted by Securities and Exchange Board of India (hereinafter referred to as 'SEBI') vide an order by Chairman in the case of Consortex Karl Doelitzsch (India) Ltd.
AND WHEREAS you are hereby summoned to appear before the investigating officer(s) named below on 17th March 2008 at 11:00am, at our following Office, along with the documents mentioned in the Annexure:

Further take notice that, without prejudice to the provisions of any other law for the time being in force, if you intentionally omit to produce the books of accounts and/or documents as required, criminal prosecution may be launched against you under Section 11C (6) which provides for a punishment with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to one crore, or with both, and also with a further fine which may extend to five lakh rupees for each day after the first during which the failure or refusal continues. Further, take notice that without prejudice to the provisions of any other law for the time being in force, if you omit to attend and give evidence or to produce the books of accounts and/or documents as required, SEBI will initiate adjudication proceedings against you under Section 15A of Securities and Exchange Board of India Act.

We are in receipt of your letter dated 03.08.2006 received by us on 01.09.2006.
With regard to your contention that the company had wrongly mismatched the distinctive numbers at the time of exchange of share certificates of “A P Power Tools Ltd.” for the share certificates of “Consortex Karl Doelitzsch (India) Ltd.”, you are advised to furnish to us, the details of all the share certificates (including Certificate No., Folio No., Distinctive Numbers) of “A P Power Tools Ltd.”, which you had submitted to the Company for exchange of share certificates bearing the name of “Consortex Karl Doelitzsch (India) Ltd.” especially of those share certificates you hade dematerialized vide DRN No.153712 (Sl.No.0037965) and No.152163 (Sl.No.0037973).
You are also advised to furnish the proof of purchase of those share certificates bearing the name of “A P Power Tools Ltd.” which you had exchanged and dematerialized subsequently, as stated above.
You shall also indicate as to which share certificate(s) of “A P Power Tools Ltd.” submitted by you, you had received the certificate of “Consortex Karl Doelitzsch (India) Ltd.” with identical distinctive numbers as that of the shares possessed by APIDC.
