GRANT OF CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION TO CDSL AS A DEPOSITORY UNDER SEBI (DEPOSITORIES AND PARTICIPANTS) REGULATIONS, 1996

SEBI has granted certificate of registration to Central Depository Services (I) Limited (CDSL) as a Depository in terms of Regulation 7 of SEBI (Depositories and Participants) Regulations, 1996 with effect from August 19, 1998. Central Depository Services (India) Limited is sponsored by The Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE) and Bank of India (BOI). CDSL is the second depository in the country after National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) to receive the certificate of registration from SEBI.
