SEBI Investor Education Programme – Investments in Mutual Funds
Different investment avenues are available to investors. Mutual funds also offer good investment opportunities to the investors. With an objective to make the investors aware of functioning of mutual funds, SEBI has prepared a brochure in question answer format explaining the fundamental issues pertaining to mutual funds.
The brochure broadly covers the following concept, history, investors rights and duties, redressal of grievances, different type of schemes, attendant risk factors, difference between initial public offer of a company and a mutual fund scheme, sources of information available to investors, etc.
