Judgment and Order of Hon’ble Federal Court of Australia in the matter of PACL Limited
On observing that the money mobilized by PACL Limited from investors was utilized for acquiring certain assets in Australia, as directed by Justice (Retd.) R. M. Lodha Committee, SEBI filed a claim petition in the Federal Court of Australia seeking repatriation of the assets or the proceeds thereof on behalf of all the investors in PACL.
The Hon’ble Federal Court pronounced judgment dated July 20, 2018 and passed order dated July 23, 2018 in the matter, accepting the claim petition filed by SEBI.
