1. We are enclosing a copy of the gazette notification dated September 9, 2002 pertaining to SEBI (Mutual Funds) (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2002 for your information and implementation.
2. Please note that SEBI (Procedure for Holding Enquiry by Enquiry Officer and Imposing Penalty) Regulations 2002 have been notified on September 27, 2002 and are available on SEBI website under the heading "Legal Framework – Regulations". As a result, certain provisions of SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996 pertaining to holding enquiries stand amended.
