Prohibition of Insider Trading

SEBI continued with the investigations in the cases of insider trading already taken up in the past year. In this year 2 new cases were taken up. These investigations are in the advanced stages of completion. In the proposed Stock Watch System, one of the key areas that will be tackled and detected on-line would be insider trading.
